I haven't done a by the hour day entry in a long time, and yesterday deserves one if any day does :}

7am- wake to alarm, grumble, get up and get ready

7:45 feed cats, discover hairball near table, ewwww

8:00am- feed myself and head to train

8:45- arrive in front of work, see everyone evacuating and smell smoke, see fire trucks and hazmat trucks arrive, join group. get told there was smoke and icky smells all through.

9:00am- everyone is organized and they announce that it'll be at least an hour and we have to stay here. we loiter and talk

10:30- supervisor gets told another 1 -2 hours, so we get told we can go take a break for a bit, but be back at 11:30, me and supervisor go eat brunch, she ate a lot, i think her announcing we could leave was purely selfish.

11:30- return, sit around for a while yet

12:10pm get told we can go back inside, and that the fire was caused by the motor of the vent system, so the smoke was going through the vent system, so it's stinky and we have no vent system. Movers go in first, as they were 'possed to leave at 11am.

1pm after staring at movers for a bit, i get to go to LUNCH , not hungry , so go on errands, on way back, train loses power for about 2 minutes and we are stuck :P :P

2-6 work. mostly staring at movers, dealing with people yelling about the noise, and reclassifying books. listening to rumours that the fire was the spirit of the building protesting the move/reclassification. librarians can be very superstitious.

6:30 get home talk to veganboy, decide to go to dinner.

7pm veganboy shows up, we go to dinner, which is mostly him eating cuz i'm still not hungry. we decide to try to see a movie.

8pm- miss movie start, next one not till after 10pm, so i an getting hungry now and want cheesecake. go to restaurant and get cheesecake and hashbrowns, and ask for crayons and play around.

9pm i am tired, don't really want to wait for late movie, so go home

9:30pm fall asleep quite early

adventurous day. wheeeee....

today i'm going to do laundry and hope my check i'm waiting for comes in the mail, so i can go to the bank. i plan to try to clean the house some for my sister coming up, but i don't know if i'll be motivated enough. it feels weird not working today, i have thursday off (without pay though) for the rest of this month, today since i worked sunday, and the rest because of convention stuff.

Whine: the elevators at work were so stinky! icky icky. the whole place smelled like burned plastic/rubber

Cheer: it was sunny out yesterday. we get another storm today :p
